Infant Immunisation Kits. These are based on the Medico© Medication System pack which provides a 28 compartment moulded plastic sheet that has an aluminium foil heat sealed to it. The foil is printed with identification of each dose and the appropriate time for giving the dose. We use these packs to present the programme in a user-friendly way to make the process of immunising your child as simple as possible. Updated ProgrammeDr Isaac Golden who developed the programme we have been using for the past 14 years undertook Doctoral research from 2002 to 2004 for which he was awarded a Ph.D. Following this research and using data collected over an 18 year period of using homoeoprophylaxis he updated the programme both in respect to the diseases covered and the potency and regime of the remedies used. The new programme is a seven year programme which is expected to give continuing protection for a further ten or more years. To view an interview with Dr Golden about his life and work and this immunisation programme click here Interview. On analysis of the new programme I found that we could fit all the doses of the updated programme into one Medico pack with the addition of a half strip containing the first two doses. Ordering Please read the comments and instructions for ordering. OrderingTo view what the kit looks like click here Picture of Kit. The changes to the list of diseases covered are: Removed. Added. New regime of doses. The potency of preparations used has been reduced from the previous 200C, 1M and 10M by removing the 1M from the regime. A further change has been to use the same potency remedy for the triple doses i.e. the first triple dose is 200C morning, noon and night, and the booster doses are triple doses of 10M. Transition KitsTo provide for those children who have completed the first kit and those who have completed the second kit to transfer to the new programme we have developed two special kits.Follow-on Kit #1+ for those who have completed kit #1. This kit has the starter dose and first booster dose for Pneumoccocal disease which was not included in the previous programme. We have for some time been providing doses for Meningococcal Disease as an extra and the starter doses will already have been given. The rest of the programme is high potency booster doses for each of the six diseases covered by the programme. These are taken at two month, four month and six month intervals. The programme will be completed after about six years. As there are eight compartments not required by the immunisation programme we have used these spaces to provide protection for a whole family against Influenza. There should be sufficient to protect a family for up to three years. Follow-on Kit #2+ for those who have completed kit #2. This kit has the starter dose and first booster dose for Pneumoccocal disease which was not included in the previous programme. The rest of the programme is high potency booster doses for each of the six diseases covered by the programme. These are taken at two month & four month intervals. The programme will be completed after about three years. Because of the lesser number of doses required this kit is provided in a half Medico© pack. Back to Top |
